BTS in Theaters
The solo documentaries for BTS members j-hope and SUGA are going to hit theaters worldwide beginning June 17th. For a limited time, ARMYs all over the world can watch j-hope IN THE BOX and SUGA: Road to D-DAY on the big screens near them.
According to Gil Kaufman at Billboard, Trafalgar Releasing CEO Marc Allenby made a statement about the continued partnership with HYBE.
“We are excited to continue our long-standing working relationship with the HYBE team for the theatrical release of j-hope and SUGA’s solo documentaries, following our recent record-breaking successes with the BTS projects ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – SEOUL: LIVE VIEWING’ and ‘BTS: Yet To Come in Cinemas.’ It’s great to bring their stories to the big screen in celebration of BTS’ 10th anniversary, a must-see experience for moviegoers around the world.”

It All Starts June 17th
June 17th comes just a few days after BTS’ debut anniversary. The K-pop boy group first made their way into music on June 13th, 2013. This year marks the boys’ 10th anniversary of their debut. The international release of j-hope’s and SUGA’s solo documentaries in theaters commemorates their beginnings, as well as the new chapter the boys have entered.
Members Jin and j-hope have begun their military enlistment processes. At first, many ARMYs wondered if all seven of the boys would be enlisting together. However, with Jin and j-hope staggering into military enlistment, Jin several months ago and j-hope somewhat more recently, fans are curious to see how everything plays out. Will all the members decide to enlist and serve their two years together? Or, will only some members enlist, while the rest work on solo careers and well-deserved leisure time?
