Known for her blended style of rap, hip-hop, pop, and R&B, British singer-songwriter Bree Runway has been a quickly rising figure on TikTok and Instagram. Starting her career in 2015 with her hit debut single “Butterfly,” she has since released over 16 singles and 4 EPs. Her debut mixtape 2000AND4EVA received worldwide acclaim from artists such as Maliibu Miitch, Yung Baby Tat, and Rico Nasty, showcasing her eclectic musical ability. She also won the 2021 Award for Best New International Act at the BET Awards and is a quickly rising figure in the music industry.
Khalid of course, is the instant-hit pop star, winner of 6 Billboard Awards, and Platinum Certified Artist. He just recently released a collaboration with PNAU on “The Hard Way.”

“Be The One” is a standard pop song with its soft guitar and mid-paced drum beat, yet the real spice of the song is the chemistry Khalid and Bree share. Their respective lyricism complements each other perfectly, and their singing is heavenly, to say the least. Coupled with the love-filled lyrics, this track can’t help but make you smile:
