Boston Calling Music Festival
Due to the pandemic, the 2022 festival will be the first since 2019. 2022 Boston Calling Music Festival will take place in Allston, Boston, MA, at the Harvard University Athletics Complex.
The Strokes and Metallica to replace Rage Against The Machine
From Foo Fighters to Metallica, the festival will host some of the most important artist in the rock scene from the 80s to date.
For the 2022 festival, the original line up included Rage Against The Machine as a headliner. Unfortunately, same as for Coachella, Boston Calling announced the band won’t perform. In a great replacement move, the festival now has both Metallica and The Strokes will perform.
At first glance the Foo Fighters appear on the first day of the festival. On the same day, HAIM and Avril Lavigne will also perform! Moreover, on the second date, to open the show will be The Strokes, followed by Australian psychedelic and neoprogressive rock King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Finally, the third day, among the others the names Metallica and Weezer stand out. Japanese Breakfast who Music Daily has covered will go on that last day as well.
