After moving up its premiere date, Taylor Swift glows next to Beyoncé at the Eras Tour film premiere at the Grove in Los Angeles. The 42-year-old absolutely stuns in a black jumpsuit from LaQuan Smith SS23, accentuated with a metallic Chrishabana chest piece. Next to the “Break My Soul” singer is none other than Miss Swift wearing a soft blue flower-embossed dress from Oscar de la Renta Resort 2023.
Although most of the setlist remained intact, fans spotted particular songs that were cut from Eras Tour film. Those songs included “The Archer,” “’tis the damn season,” “no body, no crime,” “Long Live,” “cardigan,” “Wildest Dreams” and the “seven” interlude.
In a cute photo-op on Instagram, Swift celebrated Beyoncé’s legacy. “I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without Beyoncé’s influence,” the caption read. “She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”
Amongst the A-list moviegoers were also Hayley Kiyoko, Simu Liu, Marren Morris, Flava Flav, Adam Sandler, Julia Garner, Karamo Brown, Becca Tilley, Molly Sims, Jennifer Meyer, and the Grove owner, Rick Caruso.
Swift introduced the movie with a heartwarming statement. “I appreciate you being here because this night is a core memory for me and you’re a part of it”. QuestionPro predicts that the 52-date tour boosted the U.S. economy by $4.6 billion in projected consumer spending. USA Today also reported that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour surpassed $100 million in global pre-sales. It broke the theater’s record for the highest ticket sales revenue during a single day.
As Beyoncé concluded the Renaissance tour on October 1, it garnered $579 million worldwide across 56 shows in 39 cities. Although both ladies accomplished astonishing feats, Beyoncé became the highest-grossing tour by a woman artist in history.
