After a two year hiatus, Stagecoach Country Music Festival returned on April 29th through May 1st. Located in Indio, California, the three day event features country’s biggest stars. Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood and so many others took to the stage… with a few surprise guests. We’ve rounded up Stagecoach Country Music Festival’s best moments from this year.
Carrie Underwood Performs with Axl Rose
Carrie Underwood performed on Saturday, April 29th at the festival. Along with singing some of her greatest hits, she brought out rock legend Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses. The two sang “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City,” much to fans’ delight. Carrie, upon introducing Axl Rose to the surprised crowd, said, “Welcome to greatest night of my life!”. Underwood also paid tribute to the late Naomi Judd, half of legendary duo The Judds. She sang “See You Again” in her memory.

Ashton Kutcher Makes an Appearance
Everyone’s favorite 70s guy, Ashton Kutcher, made an appearance at Stagecoach as well. He performed with Thomas Rhett and HARDY, singing Garth Brook’s “Friends In Low Places.” Rhett headlined the festival, later gushing about it on Instagram. He says, “What a night @stagecoach 🙌 one I’ll never forget”. It seems the performers brought out all the stops to make an “Unforgettable” Stagecoach Country Music Festival.

Diplo’s Stagecoach Crossover
Have you ever heard of an EDM-country crossover? Me neither, but Diplo is here to introduce us. The DJ performed Stagecoach’s very last set, perfectly blending country classics like “Before He Cheats” and party-starters such as Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina.” He also donned a cowboy hat, blue bandana, cowboy boots, and a white cut off t-shirt. Not only did Diplo smash his performance, he looked the part as well.
Guy Fieri Returns for Stagecoach Smokehouse
Perhaps one of the most notable non-performers, however, is the King of Flavortown, Guy Fieri. He returned for his “Stagecoach Smokehouse,” which served barbecue from renowned chefs. He also held cooking demos with Luke Combs, Locash, and Midland. We are absolutely positive Guy’s food was just as good as it sounds.
Other performers at Stagecoach Country Music Festival include Brothers Osborne, Cody Johnson, Jordan Davis, and Lee Brice. It seems Stagecoach’s first appearance after the pandemic was a huge hit, and fans are already counting down the days until the next.
