Bailey Zimmerman Releases (“Religiously. The Acoustic Sessions”)

Singer-songwriter Bailey Zimmerman released live versions of his full-length debut LP: Religiously. The Album. To promote the release, he released live versions of the new songs on his Youtube channel.

The performances are raw, bleeding with emotion. In the comments, fans are opening up about the effect Bailey Zimmerman’s music has on them. One testimonial: “Bailey’s music has helped me through the breakup with my first love and I will be forever thankful for him and his music. He has earned a lifelong fan for sure!”

Another: “Your music has helped me get through a lot. I know I had a good heart and pure intentions through my 5-year relationship, and got cheated on through it all and when I found out I slipped into depression and then you released religiously right after. Helped me out a lot, you don’t even know. much love to you!”

Religiously. The Album.

Comments like these showcase the artist’s connection to his fans. As for the song itself, “Religiously” is the artist’s tale of a love gone sour. He acknowledges how his emotions conflict with success in the song’s lyrics. “Mama’s healthy and I’m helpin’ out the whole family/Lotta people know my name, I made a little change/But that don’t mean nothin’.” As he says himself, his success means nothing without the woman he loved. It’s something the fans above relate to. Other songs on the new album include similar themes of heartbreak. However, that’s not the artist’s only emotion. “Found Your Love” is a song on the healing power of love. He also covers the iconic song “God’s Gonna Cut You Down,” Johnny Cash’s cautionary tale on running from your mistakes.
