Ashley Cooke Announces Headlining Tour

Country music star Ashley Cooke is all set for her upcoming headlining tour. The Shot in the Dark tour promotes the album of the same name. On July 21st, shot in the dark comes out on Big Loud Records/Back Blocks Music.

According to her website, the songs that make up the album are “… as if they were ripped from pages of her personal journal. Cooke’s sun-kissed blend of two-lane pop is on full display in the collection’s 24 tracks. Inspired by true tales of love, heartbreak, and all the moments in between. Fully capturing the essence of a daring twenty-something growing up, chasing her dreams, and taking risks, Cooke infuses heartfelt lyrics, captivating melodies, and raw relatability as she invites listeners to come along for the ride.”

Ashley Cooke Takes a Shot in the Dark

Quite a hype-up for an up-and-coming artist. But Ashley Cooke lives up to the hype. She’s Billboard’s July Country Rookie of the Month. She turned a viral Tiktok hit into a career. And she brushes arms with music veterans, as shot in the dark features several collaborations. These include Brett Young (“Never ‘Til Now”), Colbie Caillat (“Mean Girl”), Nate Smith (“See You Around”), and Jackson Dean (“What Are You on Fire About”).

Also according to her website, she has “over 200 million global streams with chart-climbing hits like “Never Til Now” with Brett Young, Ryman and Grand Ole Opry debuts, national TV appearances on ABC’s The Bachelorette, tours with Cole Swindell, Luke Bryan and more.”

Ashley Cooke is well on her way to cementing her place in the Nashville country music scene. A headlining concert tour is a big deal. So is being part of 2023’s CMT Next Women of Country Showcase. It is a well-deserved recognition for her contributions to country music as a woman artist, and it is only the beginning.

The Shot in the Dark tour begins on August 23rd and concludes on November 10th. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
