Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande’s fans received the best Christmas present, and early, too! The worldwide known famous singer, songwriter and actress Ariana Grande and American Idol winner turned hit maker, Kelly Clarkson collaborated on a Christmas project. On 15th October the phenomenal duo released the Christmas song Santa, Can’t You Hear Me.
This is the second track Kelly Clarkson has released from her new holiday album When Christmas Comes Around…. The first single, Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You), came out on 23rd September, accompanied by the lyric video.

The single has been released well in advance to the Christmas season, and took fans of both the artists by surprise, who are currently working together on the set of The Voice 2021. On the program, the two singers have the honour to be coaches.
In fact, the program started on 20th, September, with a breath taking performance of the four coaches: Grande, Clarkson and the other two coaches, John Legend and Blake Shelton. They performed a mash-up of Aretha Franklin’s Respect and Sam & Dave’s Hold On, I’m Coming.

Both Ariana and Kelly already released some Christmas records and singles in the past.
For Kelly Clarkson, this is not her first holiday collaboration. She released songs with famous artists such as her tv colleagues Blake Shelton and John Legend, The acappella band Pentatonix and Trisha Yearwood.
As for Ariana Grande, a Christmas collaboration is nothing new for her either. Not only has she recorded and released two holiday EPs, Christmas and Chill and Christmas Kisses, but in 2020 she worked with astonishing singers Mariah Carrey and Jennifer Hudson on Mariah’s song Oh Santa!
Kelly Clarkson often teases some of her songs on Instagram, and did so with this new song and record. “When Christmas Comes Around… captures how different the holidays can be for all of us during the varying stages of our lives, and I hope everyone can find something on the record they relate to. Hopefully the happier songs, but if not, hey… you’re not alone!”
Moreover, Ariana Grande thanked Kelly on her twitter account for inviting her to be a part of Santa Can’t You Hear Me.
