By now, a lot of people probably have heard of New York’s newest slang: “munch.” The originator, Ice Spice, entered the rap scene with, well, spice! In early August of 2022, her song “Munch (Feelin’ U)” began receiving a lot of attention. Audiences became fond of the catchy chorus: “You thought I was feelin’ you? / That n***a a munch / N***a a eater, he eat it for lunch / B***h I’m a baddie, I get what I want like,” Ice Spice raps.
Ice Spice, born Isis Gaston, is a Bronx native and currently 23 years old. The rapper just started making music last year, and already has a co-sign from the 6ix God himself, Drake. In fact, the Certified Lover Boy hitmaker slid into the DM’s, giving props on Ice Spice’s hit and offering to fly her out to Toronto.
Since “Munch (Feelin’ U)” was released on August 10, the YouTube video has garnered over 25 million views. Ice Spice has fully hit the gas pedal on releasing music in the past year as well, with already multiple singles out. Some singles include “Name Of Love,” “Bikini Bottom,” “Euphoric,” and “In Ha Mood.”

It was one of her first times on stage in front of a huge audience and she did it to the best of her ability. As of lately, she’s getting used to the fame and getting her name out there more.
Back in May 2022, Ice Spice made an appearance on the On The Radar Radio. The diva pulled out an impressive freestyle that you can watch here:
