The Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards.
Some of The Biggest Latin Stars Are Nominees
The 23rd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will honor some of the biggest and best-rising Latinx stars. Particularly, it will take place on November 17 at the Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
Some standout nominees this year include Christina Aguilera, Becky G, Tainy, Anitta, Bad Bunny, Camilo, Karol G, Shakira, Rauw Alejandro, Rosalia, Sebastian Yatra, Mon Laferte, Daddy Yankee, Ricki Martin, Reik, and C. Tangana. Above all, Christina Aguilera and Tainy lead with seven nominations each.
The GRAMMY Awards are the only honor awarded by music industry professionals. The Latin Recording Academy’s membership body of music creators, who represent all genres and creative disciplines — including recording artists, songwriters, producers, recording engineers, and mixers — vote during the awards process.
The Only Awards Voted By Music Industry Professionals
“At The Latin Recording Academy we continually strive to support and encourage Latin music creators, and these nominees epitomize musical excellence and represent the great momentum that our music is currently experiencing,” states Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. “We are proud to present the nominations with this diverse group of talented artists, who reflect the evolution of our Academy as a modern and relevant institution, and officially kick off the twenty-third season of the Latin GRAMMY Awards®.”
