▶ Featured Artist: Madison Beer Delivers Tragic Ballad “Dangerous”

Pop artist Madison Beer is someone to look for. If you haven’t put her on your radar yet and like artists such as Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, and Taylor Swift, you NEED to start listening to her. I promise, you won’t regret it!

The Life Support Era Just Ended

Over the past year, Madison released her debut album Life Support, which was then accompanied by a Global tour. She also joined forces dance/electronic artist Surf Mesa for “Carried Away” just two weeks prior to her debut project. Later in the summer, she delivered the standalone ballad “Reckless.”

Madison is an artist that is not afraid to let her feelings show through her music. All of her songs are deeply personal, and they narrate real experiences that she went through. In Life Support, she let us see her strong side, as she was letting go of a bad relationship. She had powerful songs like “BOYSHIT” and slower-paced yet still compelling tunes like “Stained Glass.”

Madison Gives Her All in “Dangerous”

Now, she is ready to start an entirely new era. A few weeks ago, she released her new ballad “Dangerous,” and once again, she surprised us. The song reflects on Madison’s past relationships, and how every each of them has helped her get to the point of life where she is now.

To celebrate the release, Madison held an Instagram live on August 23, where she talked more about the meaning of “Dangerous.” I’m currently in my third long-term relationship and I’ve done a lot of self-reflection over the last two years – a whole lot of therapy, a whole lot of spiritual endeavors, and just learning about myself. Part of that, for me, has been to reflect. There have been times when I was like, ‘Is it me?’ When you’re, like, the common denominator in something, ‘am I the trauma?’”

“It’s one of those things where I had a moment of self-reflection. Being the dramatic Pisces I am, I definitely had times thinking, ‘Maybe I’m unlovable?’ and I think we all go through phases of that. I’ve learned through therapy and a lot of love for myself, that I’m not, and I’m not too dangerous to love, but this song is about that feeling when you’re in that headspace.”

We can’t wait to see what else Madison has been working on, and we’re excited to enter this new era of music with her. In the meantime, enjoy “Dangerous!”
