Aitch Is Ready To Release His Long-Awaited First Album

Since his breakout in 2018, Manchester, UK native, Aitch has been a rapper to look out for.  Now, his debut album is finally on the way.  Announcing late last month, Close To Home, is the name of his freshman album.  In addition to his album announcement, the 22-year-old revealed the tracklist of the full-length project.  According to a post on Twitter, we can expect a 16-track project from the rapper.  Continuing on social media Aitch says, “This one means a lot. The past 4 years have been crazy thank you to everyone that’s been involved I can’t appreciate you enough, whether you been here from the start or not I got nothing but love.”

A Hard-Hitting Slew of Single

The lead single for Close To Home is the juicy, Ashanti-sampled track “Baby.”  In it, pitched-up vocals from Ashanti’s “Rock Wit U (Awww Baby)” shimmer throughout the song.  Watch the music video below. Additionally, tracks “1989” and “In Disguise” round out the singles from Aitch’s upcoming album.

According to the artist’s tracklist, additional features on the album include: Mastermind, New Machine, Bakar, Aj Tracey, and Ed Sheeran.

Gratitude From The 22-Year-Old

Aitch describes the album by saying, “A lot of different emotions went into this I can’t wait to share it with u lot! Came this far without dropping an album and that’s all because of you, thank you for being patient with me.”  Releasing August 19th, Close To Home is his first project since his 2020 EP Polaris.  Previously came his 2019 EP AitcH20, and his debut EP On Your Marks.

On social media, Aitch posted a cryptic note relating to the album.  The deeply personal note shows gratitude to his fans.  Additionally, he teases some lyrics from the album in it. “Let’s see how far this one takes us,” says Aitch.  His debut album Close To Home is out August 19th.
